The leather has softened considerably, with visible creasing, surface rubbing, variations in colour and a relaxed overall structure. Corners and Edges:
All exterior corners display noticeable rubbing and colour loss, with areas of the underlying leather visible. Wear is also present along the flap edges, piping and other high-contact areas. Despite the extensive cosmetic wear, no major tears or structural separation have been identified.
Interior:
The leather interior remains generally clean but shows clear signs of previous use. Pen stains are visible along the interior sides and lower corners, together with scattered scuff marks and surface impressions. The interior leather has softened and feels less structured or firm than originally intended. The compartments, central divider and pocket construction remain usable.
Hardware:
The dark silver-tone Mademoiselle turn lock, chain strap, eyelets and interior zip hardware remain in good condition with little visible wear. Light surface marks may be present from handling, but the hardware retains an even appearance and remains functional.
Strap:
The dark silver-tone chain strap remains securely attached and functional. It moves through the eyelets as intended and can be worn single or doubled. The approximate strap drop is 48cm when single and 26cm when doubled.
