Exterior
The embossed Monogram Empreinte leather remains in excellent condition, retaining its rich black colour, supple texture, and well defined Monogram embossing throughout. There is only very light rubbing to one corner consistent with careful use. The piping, edges, and remaining corners are in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear. The base remains clean with only light surface rubbing from normal use and no significant scuffs or damage. The rear zip pocket is clean, and the zipper operates smoothly.
Interior
The striped textile lining is clean and well maintained overall. The two front interior compartments remain clean and tidy. The rear compartment shows a few light marks and a couple of small stains consistent with normal use. A very faint odour is present, likely from storage and previous use, but is only noticeable upon close inspection. No tears or significant wear are present, and the interior remains fully functional.
Hardware
The gold tone hardware remains in very good condition with light surface scratches, hairline marks, and slight loss of gold tone visible to the front S lock and some hardware components from normal use. All hardware functions correctly, with the lock and zippers operating smoothly.
Strap and Handle
The removable and adjustable shoulder strap remains in excellent condition with only minor signs of handling. The top handle is clean, firm, and maintains its original shape with minimal wear.
